The main goals of the “Ukraine Support & Renovation” foundation are to support, integrate, advise, and provide homes for Ukrainians who have made Bulgaria their second home.

Our goal is to ensure that displaced Ukrainians have access to the resources they need to rebuild their lives in a safe and secure community. To achieve this, the Humanitarian Center in Plovdiv, located at 108 Tsarigradsko Shosse Blvd, operates from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

Between August 7, 2023, and August 12, 2023, 74 families sought assistance from it, totaling 175 refugees.

The individuals mentioned received 148 packaged products (including pasta, flour, tea, biscuits), 5 packs of baby food, 5 packs of diapers, 240 units of household cleaning products, and 63 kg of clothes and shoes, among other items.

With the funds from donors, essential items such as hygiene and cleaning products were purchased for 8 families of refugees – disabled individuals with severe impairments living in Bansko. They also received medications, educational materials for children, clothes, and shoes.

The distribution of cosmetic sets has ended. A total of 1356 sets were distributed from July 29th to August 10th.

We worked on programs with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), providing a total of 1332 diapers, wipes, and wet wipes. Interviews were conducted as part of the application process for financial assistance from UNHCR for vulnerable refugee families. This week, 36 applications were received.

We will continue to accept applications for the aforementioned financial assistance in the future.
